The Crossrail Project is delivering the Elizabeth line which will link Reading and Heathrow in the west with Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east via new 21km tunnels under central London. This will increase London’s rail capacity, cut passenger journey times across the city and encourage regeneration and generate significant employment opportunities.
BTTC is providing post contract commercial services to Network Rail’s Eastern Region on the Crossrail Anglia programme. This programme of work comprises the On Network Works to facilitate the entry into service of Crossrail rolling stock on Network Rail infrastructure between London Liverpool Street Station and Shenfield Station in Essex. The team have identified over £10m of efficiencies and have successfully mitigated any cost increases associated with COVID-19.
